Barge Trip

It has been kindly arranged for us to have a trip on the
Seagull Trust barge on Friday, 26th July.

The barge will take us through the lock at the Wheel to join the Forth and Clyde canal for a journey to the bridge at Bonnybridge.

If you would like to go, please meet at the boat which is moored in the basin at the right hand side of the Falkirk Wheel at 11.00 am.

We will depart at 11.30 am and return at approx 4.00 pm.

A bit slow but there is a speed limit!

It may be possible for anyone on a tight schedule to depart at Bonnybridge unless your car is in Falkirk!

A packed lunch would be advisable, as would water and sun cream, if this glorious weather keeps up.

We agreed to give individual donations to the Seagull trust Charity. We thought what ever you could afford up to £5 per person.

Out to Lunch

The group enjoyed a lovely lunch, on Friday afternoon, at the Underwood Lockhouse restaurant. Some members walked along the canal since the rain was holding off!
It was a very enjoyable afternoon.

New members are most welcome to join us at the Community Centre next Friday, 5th July at 2pm-4pm in the Scout Hall.

If you can't find us, or are unsure where the Scout Hall is, please ask at the main reception desk and they will point you in the right direction.

We are a freindly bunch and will make you feel very welcome.

Bonnyseen Magazine

You can pick up your copy of the 'Bonnyseen Magazine' at various venues around Bonnybridge. If you can't find one, pop in and see us in the Scout Hall on a Friday afternoon.

It has come to our attention that the link from our web site does not take you to the online version of the magazine. The magazine has been deleted from the site where it was posted. It is a FREE magazine but this site was charging people to view it online. Note that GHS never received any financial reward from that site!

We are reviewing our options for sharing it online free of charge. Please have patience with us whilst we consider the best way for everyone to have a look the magazine online.
